Lotus, or water lilies come in so many colours and varieties but they are always delicate and serene. With their roots in mud and the nights spent submerged in murky water, when the blossoms bloom in the morning, their petals clean, pure and sparkly bright, it isn’t hard to see why they are metaphors for life in many Eastern cultures. They symbolise enlightenment and rebirth and hope.

Like most of my designs, no two versions of the book will be the same. But then when the lotus re-blooms each day, it is never in exactly the same configuration as the evening before.
